S.O.D.A. Bowling 2015

Last night neighbors from S.O.D.A. met at Cherry Hills Lanes to have some fun and raise some money for the Dearborn Historical Museum. There was bumper bowling for the kids. Pizza and pop were included.

We had a raffle for 4 baskets and tickets to a Tigers game, as well as a 50/50 raffle.

Here is just a sample of the fun:

Thank you to those who donated the raffle prizes and a very special thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this event happen!
All proceeds from the event are going to the Dearborn Historical Museum.

Information about the Museum from Craig Hutchison:
In 2012 the operating budget for the Museum was completely cut. This left The Museum is a very precarious position as to its future. For the upcoming fiscal year, a small portion of the original budget will be restored but not to the point that would allow the Museum to be run properly for the citizens of Dearborn. The Museum must find alternative sources of funding if it is to survive. We have done a number of fundraisers and we were just awarded our first grant this year albeit a small one. We started a membership program which you can find at www.thedhm.com
If you believe an areas heritage and in the programming that a local history museum can offer, we could certainly use some community involvement. This kind of fundraiser is a huge step in that direction. Thank you all.
