Edison & Whitmore-Bolles Park Update

I contacted Greg Orner with Dearborn Recreation and Parks, he said that the contract for the new Edison Park playground equipment as been awarded and the equipment is on order. They hope to have it installed within the next 4-6 weeks. According to Mr. Orner he has heard no plans whatsoever of the Ford property renovations impacting Edison Park.

Additionally the RFP for the splash pad and comfort station at Whitmore-Bolles is in development and should go out to bid shorty. The plan is for summer construction and opening either later this fall or spring 2017.
