Ford - Test Pile Program Update

Ford is in the process of conducting testing for another parking deck on Ford’s Research and Engineering Campus. They will use an auger cast test pile program that they say will greatly reduce the noise and vibration felt during their earlier testing that included H-pile installations.
This process will include the installation of five 24” diameter drilled piers reinforced with steel and filled with grout.  Once the test piers have been installed and cured, they will begin load testing at the site which will continue for 3-4 weeks.
